My passion for childcare began in school, and progressed further when I achieved my Level 3 qualification in Health, Social Care and Early Years at college in Cambridge.
After college, I worked in school and nursery settings, progressing through the ranks and confirming my passion for early years education. This led me to complete a Foundation Degree in Early Years, Playwork, and Education at university.
With my academic background and hands-on experience, I advanced in various childcare roles, managing a pre-school and an afterschool club before transitioning into nannying. Nannying allowed me to work one-to-one with children, catering to their unique needs and interests, forming strong bonds with both children and parents. My approach emphasises learning through play and exploration, utilising local resources to enrich children’s early years and beyond.
From a young age, I knew this was my calling.
Behind the scenes, my husband's influence in co-founding Cambridge Nannies cannot be overlooked. With over 15 years in recruitment, he excels in connecting people. Together, our complementary passions and expertise form the foundation of Cambridge Nannies.
